Still removing the wheelwells. Be sure not to get the heat to close or the outer paint will bubble.

Rear floor and frame removed

The rear 4 link setup was retained. But it was moved up. There will also be a Watt's Link installed.

Close up of the new rear frame to original frame weld. The original frame will be plated and blended with the new addition.

We had to remove part of the original crossmember for the driveshaft to clear.

New Frame segment. Brad still wanted to tow so the bags will be in the stock location over the axle.

Here is a close up of the notch. Bracing will be added to all the joints and support bars will tie both sides of the frame together.

Here is the front suspension reinstalled. The factory spring brackets have been removed. Now its time to add the new airbag brackets.

Brad placed his four compressors at the front of the truck. There is also a 5 gallon tank behind the bumper.

This is where the 22'' wheel will sit. This SUV will lay frame and there was no need to cut into the door jams.
